More Colors and Different Aspect Ratio
After some reflection, I decided to switch from the four color CGA palette to a 16 color palette.
And not just any palette. Wad's Palette.
In addition, I ditched the 320x200 internal screen resolution in favor of a 16:9 aspect ratio.
The internal screen resolution is now 320x180.
Which means it scales evenly on all HD and standard UHD resolution.
I also have some other things that I want to work out.
One, my controllers/keys only trigger the movement or whatever action upon the release of the key/button.
And in a game, it is expected that if you hold down a key, you will keep moving until you release the key.
Also, my menu system is a bit on the clunk.
In order to pick up a mushroom requires 3 presses of the key/button, not counting up down navgitation stuff.
In order to later eat that mush requires 5 presses, and some nav.
I could certainly improve that.
And I shall.
