Lord Malus's First Appearance
Today I mainly wanted to accomplish the initial appearance of Lord Malus.
This takes place after delivering all of the packages to the companions, and then walking into the town square.
Along the way, the code had gotten somewhat unruly, and so I gave it a more streamlined, fluent interface for dealing with triggers and dialogs and choices and effects.
Story-wise, the first appearance of lord malus is in, and in addition, you can then go back and talk to Master Leo about Lord Malus.
And at this point, we have the impetus required to set out in search of the Knorva.
Oh yeah, it used to be the Arcane Keystone.
Now its the Knorva.
For those not in the know, Knorva is the name of a product sold at IKEA.
Specifically, it is a bucket hat made from the same material as the IKEA bags.
I wear one when I stream my gamedev content.
There's sort of thing associated with that.
Anyway, that's where this game is at, and during the jam, I just have one more session tomorrow, and my stretch goal is to at least get alex to the point where they can get the Knorva and that is the very beginning of the story.
