Amusing for a Moment, But Not Core Game Loop Worthy


This year, I'm trying something new.

I'm making vertical slices of games rather than trying to make full games.

With the idea being to take those vertical slices that are both fun and developable into full games and make them into games, but the ones that are ultimately dead ends are left as just that.

In the case of this vertical slice, the activity is amusing enough for exactly one play through.

It is maddening and frustrating to chase the "weasels" into a corner, but in the end, that's all this is. Chase the thing into the corner.

It could be a fine addition to a larger RPG type game, but on its own, it quickly gets old.
